The new research and technological development laboratories of the Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy - CHOSE (Polo Solare Organico), part of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", houses a pilot production line for organic solar cells. CHOSE is one of three centers of excellences at a global level, together with those in Japan and Germany, in the field of research into new photovoltaic solar cells.

    CHOSE project - The Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) focuses on the production of organic solar cells. The technology is inspired by the process of photosynthesis by using a mix of materials in which a dye absorbs solar radiation and the other components extract the charge to produce electricity.
