The University of Salerno (Università degli studi di Salerno or UniSa) is mainly based in Fisciano, a town in the province of Salerno. It is the third-largest university in the south of Italy by size and number of students. It currently has 10 faculties, 60 courses on-going (degrees, graduate studies, masters degrees), 29 departments, six research centers as well as one of the few universities in Italy to be organized around a campus of 1 sq km.
