The park was created in 1992 as a joint-stock consortium and currently has 42 associated companies and organizations from the following categories: universities, local authorities, research and training centers, trade associations, companies and local banks. CALPARK Parco Scientifico e Tecnologico della Calabria is a company certified under UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 to plan, develop, experiment and commercialize applied scientific research activities with the aim of facilitating innovation transfer and the creation of enterprises in the sectors of information technology and food & agriculture; to plan, experiment and commercialize training activities in the fields of business administration, innovation transfer and management; and, in addition, to commercialize services relating to scientific information and patents.
