The Tecnopolo di Castel Romano is one of the motors of research applied to industry in Italy, a privileged place to nurture dialogue between scientific and entrepreneurial cultures. Along with the Tecnopolo Tiburtino, it represents one of the most ambitious challenges for the development of the capital city as regards new technologies. Currently there are 500 people, including technicians, researchers and employees, who work at the center and the main aim is to increase and reinforce the ability to integrate with universities with local SMEs, encouraging technology transfer and the creation of new hi-tech enterprises.
